Sykada_v1

Sykada1.0 is an ambient feedback network composed of a user interactive video interface and an audio indexing system.

Working in collaboration with Andrew Kudless (MATSYS) and Brandon Zeeb, Studio Mode designed and developed Sykada to record and process site-specific sounds relating changing user positions and proximities to pieces within the installation space.

The system consists of a motion tracking surveillance and analysis application in Max.Msp.Jitter, operating in junction with a recording and granular processing engine in Native Instruments’ Reaktor.
