<p>Isolite is an interfacing platform that utilizes tomographical information for fast paced meshing studies. The application consists of an image analysis node in Max.Msp.Jitter and a visualization and computation node in Processing.</p>
<p>Created for realtime visualization of the resulting isosurface from a video scan of geometry, Isolite includes a series of threshold sliders and rotational viewing of the generated mesh for calibration before output.</p>

<p>Studio Mode and Brandon Zeeb were commissioned by performance artist <a href="http://www.tahniholt.com/">Tahni Holt</a> to consult on the design and development of a series of projected visuals for the live performance <a href="http://www.tahniholt.com/endless-ocean">&#8220;Endless Ocean Endless Sky.&#8221;</a></p>
<p>The hour-long performance is structured around a script consisting of 100 short chapters based on Holt&#8217;s non-linear, non-narrative &#8220;blueprint.&#8221; Utilizing the processing capabilities of Max.Msp.Jitter, Studio Mode developed a library of short-sequence and procedurally-processed videos which were compiled into longer formats for the performance.</p>

<p>Working in collaboration with Andrew Kudless <a href="http://www.materialsystems.org/">(MATSYS)</a> and Brandon Zeeb, Studio Mode designed and developed Sykada to record and process site-specific sounds relating changing user positions and proximities to pieces within the installation space.</p>
<p>The system consists of a motion tracking surveillance and analysis application in Max.Msp.Jitter, operating in junction with a recording and granular processing engine in Native Instruments&#8217; Reaktor.</p>
